It is not enough to detox from alcohol in order to make a complete recovery from alcohol abuse. To make a full recovery from alcohol abuse, it is essential to change your brain's addictive thought patterns. Holistic Sanctuary combines alcohol detox with other alcohol rehab therapies to create a personalized inpatient treatment program that meets your needs.

Our team of psychodynamic psychotherapists will assist you in identifying the root causes of alcoholism. Our therapists will help you learn to deal with your cravings, triggers, and addictive impulses.

Holistic Sanctuary offers a variety of alcohol rehabilitation therapies, including group therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and the 12-step program. There are also holistic treatments and workshops.

Group therapy

Psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that allows you to share your innermost feelings in a safe place, free from any conflict within your home. You can gain a deeper understanding of your emotions by sharing your story with others who have suffered from alcohol abuse.

A trained addiction counselor will supervise your sessions and help you to deal with guilt and shame.

Group therapy can help you form lasting friendships with other clients by bonding with your peers. This will allow you to create a support network of people who understand your struggles.

Our family program allows our therapists and family members to meet separately. They will provide insight into your treatment and advise you on how to best help you maintain a happy, sober life after you have finished rehab.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT),

This is a highly structured, personalized form of psychotherapy that helps you understand the interconnectedness between your thoughts and feelings. Participation in the first few sessions will be required for the recommended ten to 12 weekly sessions of CBT therapy.

CBT is a part of the group process. It teaches you tools and strategies to manage your cravings after you leave rehab. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of an addictive mindset in others can help you identify them.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, (DBT).

This workshop-oriented form of psychotherapy addresses the possibility that your substance abuse could be intertwined with mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD. DBT is a one-to-one hourly session with a specialist therapist that examines the effects of your mental health conditions on your alcoholism.

You will be taught techniques like emotional regulation, mindfulness and distress tolerance in your skill training group. Accepting your alcohol abuse allows you to reach your goals and have a better relationship.

12-step program

A therapy that is immersive and based on the "12 steps", designed to help you tap into your inner strength and determination. The therapists will guide you through clear guidelines to help you get rid of the negative emotions that result from alcohol abuse.

Twelve step therapy aims to help you refocus your energy toward honesty, compassion and open-mindedness. Holistic Sanctuary is a combination of 12-step therapy and CBT, based on the early practices in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Aftercare for alcohol rehabilitation

Relapse prevention is an important part of your ongoing recovery from alcohol addiction. Holistic Sanctuary will provide you with one year of free Sanctuary Rehab aftercare. This will help you to adjust your daily life using the tools and techniques that you have learned during treatment. We also invite clients to continue group therapy sessions every other week. These sessions will give you the strength and support you need to get through the tough moments in your recovery.
