Welcome to our micro-learning series designed to support the work of transforming the lives of youth and families in California by fostering a Kin-first culture in child welfare and the juvenile justice system. Guided by our values and the Integrated Core Practice Model, these mini-training modules provide impactful information containing the knowledge and skills necessary to shift away from limiting beliefs and systemic barriers toward cultivating lasting change where children remain with their parents, or during times when safety concerns are high, live with family/kin, community members and tribes as the best way to mitigate trauma, promote healing, and achieve equity in our communities.
