Overview
In this module, participants will gain a basic understanding of best practices in online course design, the Instructor roles in the design process and how to best work with an Instructional Designer to produce high-quality online courses. Creating an online course for the first time can seem an overwhelming and daunting task and has unique challenges as well as opportunities. Online learning opens up worlds of possibilities that may not be possible in a face-to-face class. Before beginning your design, it's important to understand the foundational elements of online course design and your role in the process.
