Overview: Module 4
Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Distinguish between different Canvas learning tools and identify how those tools should be used
- Identify at least one way to use the Zoom synchronous learning tool in a future course
- Integrate at least one learning tool (Canvas or external) with a learning activity described during the "Designing Learning Experiences" module.
Overview
Technologies can be used for any number of learning-related activities, from supporting the delivery of a lecture to engaging students in discussion between lessons. Whatever the technologies chosen, they should always serve the purpose of advancing the course goals. To that end, it is important to apply the principles of backwards design to technology integration when designing a course. In this module, participants will learn about and apply a variety of learning tools inside and outside of the Canvas learning management system.
