- Describe the phases of Backwards Design
- Create course and module outcomes
Overview
In this module, participants will gain understanding of how to create high-quality learning objectives, and have opportunities to apply that knowledge in multiple learning activities. Good learning objectives are what you want your students to achieve (“by the end of this course, you will be able to...”). If you don’t know the end goal—and you don’t have certain measurable checkpoints—you can get lost along the way. This is why any good course design begins with creating quality objectives.
