Recording Video Checklist

• Record video in high resolution, uncompressed, and audio (1920 x 1080 for video ideally)
• Check available storage if recording to computer such as with Kaltura
• All the same audio issues apply as above
• Light yourself well, set up extra lights as needed
• Depending on camera configuration, check focus
• Make sure laptop camera angle is perpendicular/flattering
• Check background of video
• Check computer desktop if capturing screen
• Turn of computer notifications, warnings and interactions
• Check your look, hair, makeup, clothing. Try patterns with tiny lines
• Green screen not recommended with laptop cameras due to automatic lighting adjustments
