Daniel Tancredi
Daniel Tancredi, PhD
Daniel Tancredi is a medical statistician on the faculty of the UC Davis School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, and a member of the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research. Highly collaborative and widely published, he is an investigator or consulting statistician on a wide variety of randomized clinical trials, including studies of educational, nutritional and behavioral interventions. His research and teaching interests include effective study designs and analysis plans for both experimental and observational studies, with a focus on cost-efficient design and analysis strategies for settings with correlated measurements, including cluster-randomized trials, longitudinal studies, and probability surveys that use complex probability sampling techniques. He has a bachelor degree in behavioral sciences from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in mathematical statistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
