Global navigation icons are on the far left (in blue with Account at the top)

The navigation links in blue on the left-hand side are the global tools available in Canvas and apply to all classes that might be associated with your Canvas login. Important areas are the Account link where you will set your Notifications, the Calendar link that will list due dates for the class and the Inbox where you can communicate with the instructor or fellow students for privately.

Course navigation links (with Home on the top)

These links are specific to this class. You can use them to move between the Home/Modules home page, the Syllabus page and the Grades page.
